Eclectic Impact

Eclectic Impact took their new production of "The F-Word" to the first ever Edinburgh Students Arts Festival 2015.

 

The show is a devised physcial theatre performance drawing on clowning and influenced by companies such as DV8 physical theatre and Frantic Assmebly. Comrising of an all-female cast the show was inspired by verbaitum texts of key female figures from the past and present.

 

 The F-word discusses the issues of mis-representation in the 21st Century questioning the positions of females and males, in the work place and the home whilst pondering th meaning of the work "Feminism". It draws from the performers' own personal experiences as well as their response to women around the world.
